Hey! I got rejected today, too! It's good to know I'm in such good company. I believe I suffer from too much optimism: I always spend so much time imagining what it would feel like to get that grant, sell that picture, etc... I'm going to try pessimism for a while. I love your work, by the way.
And this is pretty much how I feel about getting two rejection emails in the span of 15 minutes. Blurg.
