I'm here catching up. I do so enjoy your blog; I've been away from it for too long. This photo stopped me---first, for its impact, and second, for the familiarity of this juxtaposition. I know exactly where the photographer is, this is a suburb of my hometown. I have considered the concept of this photo many times. just wonderful and horrible.
